Live Bait Presents Musician Adyn Townes October 8 at Mel’s

Live Bait Theatre is excited to present Adyn Townes on Friday, October 8 at 8 pm at Mel’s Tea Room at 17 Bridge St. in Sackville. Tickets are $10 and they can be purchased in advance at Mel’s Tea Room or online here, and also at the door.

Adyn Townes has a way with words. An alternative indie-pop artist from New Brunswick and five-time International Songwriting Competition finalist, Townes’ debut full-length album ‘After the Fall’ was released in July 2018 to great national support. A 2020 East Coast Music Award nominee (Songwriter of the Year) and winner of the 2019 Music NB award for ‘SOCAN Song of the Year’, Townes’ unique voice and heartfelt lyrics set the stage for his beautiful and honest songwriting.Townes is thrilled to be back on the road and feel the energy of a live audience as he celebrates the release of his new 12-song album, ‘In Frames’, set to be released on October 1st. ‘In Frames’ explores the unique stories and relationships that exist behind closed doors – or open windows. We often only see glimpses into other people’s lives through the windows we pass on the street and it was these stories that inspired ‘In Frames’. Townes’ believed that before the pandemic, no one saw themselves in these moments – but from first loves to forever loves, our stories are more similar than they are different.

“We are very excited to have Adyn as the first presentation of our 2021/22 season”, said Live Bait President Cynthia Spurles. “He’s such an amazing musician and songwriter, and Mel’s is such a lovely place for a performance. We can’t wait to share it with everyone”.
